I absolutely love it when a designer or fashionable individual takes something that I had deemed irrevocably bad and makes it look great. Just yesterday I was standing on the subway platform staring at someones jeans that they had cut and frayed the way girls used to do in middle school in order to create flares where no flare had been. I was thinking how terrible it was, and then along comes Tommy Ton with a photograph of the same phenomenon, looking awesome.
